Just a few lines to say that I am very proud of all the CG Color Guard girls I've worked with and around the past four years (that's eight seasons, WOO HOO !). I'll definitly miss the time I got to spend with you. Especially the times with my daughter. Good luck to you all in the future.

I think it is important to note that 1983 is not the first year that CGCG as a winter guard was in existence. Although IHSCGA did not exist until '83, Center Grove did indeed have a winter guard in '81 and '82. IN FACT, Greenwood High School hosted what was known as a "state" competition in '81 and '82, and I know for a fact CG won that in '81 because I was there and I was in it! I think it would be awesome if you were able to include that little extra bit of info in your timeline; it only adds to the foundation of the history, not only of color guard at Center Grove, but of our band program overall. I was enormously proud to be part of that initial group that started it all, and I know the other girls in the guard were as well. DON'T FORGET ABOUT US! Thanks for keeping color guard alive and well!
