Jill;
I am so sorry about the loss of your Father. He was a kind, sweet man who made my visits to Cavell very special. Please pass my sympathies on to your mother.

To Bob's Family,
I met Bob briefly when he was kind enough to sell me his last sailboat "Stardust". I think this was around 1999 or 2000. I was thrilled to make this purchase, and I spent many memorable hours working on her, and many years sailing her (along with my black Chow Chow) on Lake Monroe in Bloomington, Indiana. I called Bob one time to thank him again for selling Stardust to me and to let him know how much use she was getting. I bought a house, made a family and found limited time for sailing and so I found a new owner for Stardust. He, like me, was excited as he could be and has spent many hours (and dollars) on upgrades to the old gal. Stardust, Bobs boat, is still moored on Lake Monroe. She is also part of the Privateer.org member registry (got to privateer.org, look for member registry, then for "Startdust")
I have thought about Bob from time to time over the years, and just today thought to Google his name, and in doing so, found this memorial page.
My best wishes to you, the family of Bob.

It's meagain...I didn't get to finish my story. Here is the rest Iwanted to say.

Everywhere Iwent at Camp I was always in some kind of dilemma. Whetherit was a broken dishwasher, cookie dough that had beenflung all over the wall because the mixer was on too high,or a walk-in cooler that never seemed to be up totemperature. Although, I don't think that is why Bob calledme "Trouble." It was probably because every time I saw himI had some kind of wisecrack or joke to subject him to.Here's to you Bob and the life you lived. I will miss youvery much!

DearDee, Jill and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about Bob'spassing. Camp Cavell and everyone who frequents there hasalways been and always will be an important part of mylife. No matter how much time has gone by without mevisiting, everyone is always glad to see me and is verywelcoming. Bob was especially. He was a true gentleman andan all around fun guy. I have many memories of my timeswith Bob that I will hold dear to my heart. Some of myfavorite times were around the staff dinner table when hewould convince me to talk about my "issues" and then makewisecracks about my dramatics. Oh, the laughs we had. Wealso had a riot refinishing the dining room floor togethereach year. Only Bob could make scrubbing my fingers raw,sweating all the liquid out of my system, and getting aheadache from floor wax a good time. I will also neverforget the pet nickname he used for me. He use to alwayscall me "Trouble." In all fairness, it was a perfect&
