I am so excited to run across this website. I am a distant cousin of yours! My Grandmother was Rosemary Black Ham, her mother was Mary McKee Black, her mother was Julia McKee Miller whose father was Jonathan McKee.

If you want to update that part of the tree then let me know and I can fill in some dates for you. Unfortunately I just lost my Grandmother two weeks ago. She would have loved to see all of this.

I think your website is great. My maiden name is McKee but my great-grandfather came from GA & settled in MS with my great-grandmother Ida Arledge. My grandfather, Wilbur McKee, moved to Chicago in the 1920's. My family, the Lhotkas, currently live in a suburb of Altanta, GA.

I was wondering if you might info regarding the origin of the 3 dogs (or wolves?) in numerous versions of the family crest I have seen. I also know McKee is a royal Irish surname, dating back to the Druids. Thanks for the pics!

Hello! I am in aw of your web page, you have done a great job. I am struggling to follow my family tree back past 1754 when Johannes Schmeh came over from Germany. So, I therefore find your web page to be very incredible. I looked through do@!#%&ents, I was directed to your site by a search that I did. I don't believe there is any ancestral relationship with your tree and Johannes Schmeh, which got 'Americanized' in to Smay. I wasn't positive their wasn't a connection, so if you know something I don't I would appreciate the info. Thank you and again very impressive!

Firstly, congrats on a very good web site.
I couldn't see any connection on the site but I am asking, just in case. Do you have any links with McKees from Sheffield, UK. I am particularly interested in Charles Frederick McKee born Sheffield 1863 who moved to Oundle UK in mid 1880's.

I was able to find further information about the Anania side of the family earlier than my grandpa Louis Angelo Anania. My grandma Naomi 'Ruth' Anania was a Connor but I remember hearing that I think her mother was a McKee so I do not know if you would even have anything more about the Anania's. Would you please reply to me and let me know. I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi! I am a descendant of William B. Mahon and Anna Dines. My grandfather Emmett Mahon and his sister Elizabeth (Lizzie) Mahon went to live with their Aunt Isabell and Uncle Will after their mother Anna Dines passed away in 1888.

According to family records, Emmett (my grandfather) was 8 years old when he and Lizzie came to live. I was curious as to what information you may have on Dines. I know Anna Dines was born in Ireland and that's about it.
