Let me introduce myself to you, I am billed as Mr. Lewis Returnz My history includes a two second cameo in the 1969 Woodstock movie. In the early 1970's, I formed a band called "Uncle Son" named for a Kinks Song. It was an acoustic trio which played in various venues mainly in NYC and Long Island. In the late 1970's the band became "The Dragons", an electric new wave/punk with drums and bass performing in venues like CBGB's and Max's Kansas City. All thru the years the band used only original songs I wrote. The Kinks themselves came down to see the band at the club "the Great Gildersleeve's". In 1980, I realized, I preferred songwriting to performing and became a virtual recluse from the entire scene. In 2006, I remerged as I co-wrote songs with Chris Nim of the band "Nim Vind". Songs such as "Radio Active Man" and "Guillotine" have been performed in Europe to 25,000 of his fans. In 2007, I began to play very small venues, drawing on songs from my acoustic days, my punk days and thru all the years. I play for the enjoyment of it at small NYC venues. My page on myspace is: www.myspace.com/mrlewisreturnz All music is either live or done in my basement.

Just found out about the passing of Roseann Kuberski. I was with Sparkle & Taco the night they had the meeting at O'Banions to bring in new music and make it a punk bar. Was there 5x a week with Roseann and all of the icons of that time, Frankie, Hope, Terri Fox, Butchie, Danny Hursch, Steve Smith, Todd, Jerome, Jerilee Sparks, Judy Smith, Max, Christian and the music of Iggy Pop, Ramones & Cheap Trick. It was a great time. Roseann & all of us were cir@!#%&spect about the whole idea of Neo opening up and the scene going mainstream. The night Neo opened, we tipped the cabdriver to drive all of the way down the alley to the front door. Then Exit & 950 aft that. It was a great time. And Roseann was at the center of it all, like an older sister who always had our backs. I loved her and will miss her forever. RIP Roseann and save me a bloody mary on the other side! xo Lenny
