My father Steve Hluchan recommended I visit your site.
I am a teacher at the Delaware College of Art and
Design.

Your work is both graceful and elegant. It is
refreshing to see beautiful form in today痴 subject driven
art world.

All the best.

p> Hi Michio,

I was doing research for a field trip to the DeCordova
and found your sculpture and your websight.  VERY
IMPRESSIVE.  I feel honored to know such an
accomplished artist, of course I knew that already.  I
hope all is well with you and Doreen.  We're good and
trying to get used to life without a dad and husband,
but I'm not sure that is ever going to be possible.
They say kids are resilliant and I think that's true,
myself I'm not so sure.  I'm keeping busy though,
taking classes to advance upward on the pay scale and to
keep brain in tune.  Also, I'm planning an addition
onto our house to update the place...it's pretty
outdated and disfunctional as is.  We'll be
living out in the pottery studio this summer if all
goes according to plan.  Then I might use the
space to teach some classes.  I have all of
Makoto's equiptment and tools, not to mention a stockpile
of clay.  We have friends who are moving to
Concord, I think this summer.  They bought a place I
think in the area of town that's behind the Concord Inn,
maybe where the Abe's used to live.  I still have the
note that Dore
