I'm researching the Shumate surname and am interested in corresponding with others related to Shumates or searching this family. I'm a descendant of Jms. Henry Shumate, thought to be the brother of Joseph Shumate of Fauquier Co., Va.

Kind Regards - Robert

I was born in Hannibal n all my relatives were born in Hannibal or i different cities around Marion county. Most of them r buried in different cemeteries in Hannibal. The most recent one that
I found about was the Old Baptist Cemetery.I didn't know where it was located til I saw a map of it's location. It is located up the street from my grandparents lived.I am planning another visit
to Hannibal so that I can visit the cemetery.
