I had a case with the Attorney General. It took them over a year to get anything done, and then we have to go to Court four different times. The father showed up with a lawyer, and I felt like I didn't get any help at all. Thank you for putting out this kind of information for people like me to help us understand what's going on in the courts.

Thank you for some great information! My girls do not get any type of assistance from the state. I've worked double shifts and 2nd jobs to take care of them. For 5 years I fought with Texas while the arrears owed climbed. Even though I had proof of evasion in three other states Texas decided to give my ex a 1st and 2nd chance... wouldn't you know it he didn't show because he knew he would get locked up. After agreeing to take less than what was due to just get something he still wouldn't give up a dime.
I've sent a complaint with a request for transfer to a fedral case because at this point he had proven to skipping states 6 or 7 times.

I'm also going to use all your contacts and most especially to my state representive if the OAG does not address my request . This would be the 3rd or 4th time and second complaint but thanks to you I know who to complain to that the OAG office will actually care about.
