Pleased to see information on one of my ancestors here. Wish to make correction about Nancy Jane Shamblen. She did not remain in Ohio as stated in many genealogies. She actually moved to Red Oak, Iowa with her husband Samuel Forshay and their children. Sadly, there are no pictures of her but I have several of Samuel and her children. She lived only about 30 miles from Frederick Shamblen.She is buried in the South Cemetery in Red Oak, Iowa.

Hello I started working on the family tree and I have new info. on my family. My Mom passed away in 2004 am sure you didn't know that.
I was wondering if you could help me? I have Indian relations on my grandfather's side (my Mom's Dad) but I don't know the tribe. Could you tell me how to research that? The older relatives that would know are gone. I would appreciate any and all help you could give thank-you.
