Re "New Guitar"

Part of the luthiers art in in the timing of the gluing of the linings to avoid the hanging out of laundry. This is why luthiers prefer to construct their instruments in Winter or during the monsoon and leave the lacquering until summer. The advent of the tumble drier has made life much more tolerable for instrument makers and indeed the Worshipful Guild of Master Luthiers hols an annual thanksgiving for it's development.
