It was an absolute pleasure meeting you at the MCG a couple of weeks ago, at the collingwood final. Shocking result I've only just got over it. Dear Daryl,
I don't know how I missed stumbling on your site earlier. (With the amount of fakes around, I hope it is the real Daryl Harper). I think you are a great umpire who also has the sense of the great game and fun on the friend and share a very good rapport with the players on the field. (Although it took me a very very long time to accept the 1999 LBW decision :-), you know which one). I also admie the consistency of your umpiring.
I hope you wouldn't mind me adding your site to my blogroll. Keep writing your experiences. It feels great to hear from one of the best umpires of this decade.
