Fantastic web site! I enjoyed Harvey Hallman's stories so much, and they brought back so many memories. This encourages me to write my own stories for my grandchildren. The first will be about the scary blackouts! Eddie lived in Venice,Fla. during the war because his dad was in the Navy. Outside their apartment there was a row of hedges and on the other side a camp which held German prisoners. When they marched the prisoners, Eddie and his friends would stick croquet mallets through the hedge and try to trip the marcning prisoners. That sounds like boys, doesn't it! Note: There was no fence!! Message Number: 64 - Monday, January 19, 2009 19:41:58 EST [IP = 74.176.66.45] -United States ![]()
