GREAT WEBSITE.
THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF THE VIC 20 WHEN I WAS ABOUT 7 OR 8. I REMEMBER ONE GAME CANNONADE WHICH I CANT FIND AT ALL. YOU HAD TO SHOOT CANNONS THROUGH A GAP IN A WALL IN THE CENTRE OF THE SCREEN. WOULD ANYONE KNOW OF THIS ONE.

Great website!
Finally, a website devoted to the often overlooked Vic-20.
I have fond memories of playing my Vic-20 as a teenager. It was the first computer I ever owned and I especially liked playing text adventures (which was all there was in those days!) such as Magic Mirror and the Scott Adams adventures. |

Hi, So pleased to see your preservation work for the Vic-20. I am a big fan and ex CBM store employee. We are working on our own site and group. The Retro Computing Cult. shazam.zapto.org but need some help to learn Joomla for designing our site.

Wow, the Vic 20 is what made computing great.
It's a shame kids today will never know what it was like when home computing began back in the 80's. The excitement and joy that would be created by social gatherings at the local computer clubs where games were copied and exhanged.
it's hard to beleive i spent days playing the vic's games with more passion than i could ever do using todays consoles. yep those were the days.
Now everyone is spoilt with pixar quality graphics and expects it standard.
Please keep up this brillient work of preserving many childhood dreams that came true.
Andy.
p.s. i have tried some of the TAP files, but they are not working for some reason. any ideas? blue meanies for example.
