Zen Buddhism is naturally appealing, because there is no higher or lower nature, there is just nature, your nature; and it is pure.

Zen Buddhism is as appealing as the truth, because there is no higher or lower truth, there is just truth, your truth; the truth is if you chose to lower yourself, it is not your nature.

Zen Buddhism does not appeal to everyone, because some people think they have all the answers; like the ego. ZEN- what is the nature of a tree; it has no ego.

I sincerely appreciate all the work you do. As a Moor(African-American) it is very meaningful and enlightening to learn of the black origins of Buddhism. You have definitely put me on a path of deeper study into the topic. I am looking forward to deepening my study and practice of Nichiren Buddhism. I have been doing the Namu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo mantra daily. Love your work. Thank you!

Chan Zen Buddhism teaches us to question everything we fear. Why do we fear circumstances, things, people, or a places. Why don’t we realize that fear is a taught response, to the known and the unknown. Why are we taught to fear everything in life, right or wrong. The answers come from the same place as the questions; the mind.

Chan Zen Buddhism teaches you to question everything you are taught, even Chan Zen Buddhism. Why are so many people taught to fear letting go and holding on. Why are so many people taught to fear, being included, being excluded, being remembered or being forgotten. Why do people waste their time.

Chan Zen Buddhism teaches us, if we fear everything, we suffer. If we fear being responsible for everything, and we fear being irresponsible, that is suffering, or the limitations of thought; a taught response to everything known, and unknown. Fear is a taught response; just like suffering.

Chan Zen Buddhism teaches you to fear nothing. Circumstances change, things change, people change

Thank you for all the information that you have provided on this site. It have truly been an enlightening experience. So much so that I would like to join the association. I have already downloaded the prayer book and I am studying the information on the site.
I do have one question, is there any association members in the Phoenix, Arizona area that I could contact and study with?
Again, thank you for the site and all of the information that you have provided.

Jerry

I'm so glad I found your website because I have been negative experiences with three leaders at the community center in the city where I live. Racism, and controlling issues. They see two Asians and one white. They refuse to treat everyone the same, they hog the Buddhist information by not giving much of it. They don't do any of the points the I have read about in terms of helping others to become happy, giving guidance, respect for is lacking. So I would like to learn from you. I have been practicing SGI Buddhism since April of this year. I was told by a white leader she is not interested in helping me and they have family they need to take care of. I had been changing for a teacher anyway, so I found you.
