I was just reminiscing about 4 winds and how great those three summers were. In an attempt to get in touch with old friends from years past I wandered onto this site and its amazing how many memories came back when I saw the photos of Ms Mac and the Punchbowl. I went back to visit the property a few years ago and was shocked to see how much had changed in the overgrown fields where we used to play smugglers and spies. It was amazing to find that twister and squall were still watching over walker pond. I climbed into the bathroom of window of Twister just like I used to years ago when I wanted to surprise the other girls and it was rush to see all of the names and messages still written all over the walls...oh four winds...

I am so very sorry to hear of Mrs Mac's passing. I have vivid and fond memories of my summers at C4W. I learned to do so many things, many of which I still enjoy, especially sailing! I took archery, riflry, swimming, jr. lifesaving & canoeing. I remember the little green charms we got for each activity we participated in. Oh, can't forget riding, too! And learning to cook blueberry pancakes on top of a big tin can with a fire underneath.

I have email addresses for almost all of the Bryn Mawr class of 1967. A number of us were at Four Winds in the 1960s.
My oldest daughter Megan Kutzer was at Four Winds in the 1990s.

So sorry to hear of Mrs Mac's passing - what a great lady - always kind and respectful to all, from the youngest and most vulnerable to the most powerful.
