There isn't much too say, it is all unspoken, even today as our magnificent treasure is being used as we were, nothing has really changed. God Bless our Troops, God Bless our Veterans and God Bless our Country. Lord have Mercy on us all. Many things are said about Vietnam but the bottom line is you can't understand it unless you were there. This is a fact that only a Vietnam Vet can understand. My hat is off to any 0311 or Navy Corpman that served in that war. Message Number: 360 - Friday, June 25, 2010 14:37:18 PDT [IP = 72.196.122.17] -United States ![]()

To all who served with Dying Delta, Semper Fi. Several years ago, I was asked to participate in an interview about my time in the Corps and Vietnam, which I did, but I wanted to put a face, the character and personality to the questions asked and wrote a memoir to do that. It is called "The Best of the Best - The Fighting 5th Marines - Vietnam". I cover my life from childhood to joining the Marines, life in the Corps before, during, and after Nam, my life since. So it is not all about Nam, but I do go into the Union operations in great detail from my own perspective, particularly May 12 and June 2, 1967.You can read reviews of this book at Amazon.com and would appreciate your reviews if you care to post them. We all gave some. Some of us gave all. It still seems like yesterday.
