As a fellow collector and history buff, I enjoyed your site very much. My collection is currently in storage but when it becomes accessible I would be glad to share photos of some of the WW1 Era items. Keep up the great service your site provides!

Such a great cover picture of the Doughboy assaulting a German position in the Meuse Argonne Campaign. My father had a helmet and gas mask like that, which stood on a shelf in our upstairs hall closet for years. My brother once terrified me by donning the gas mask and jumping out of a door at me. Imagine what the Germans must have felt to see a forest full of Americans charging at them dressed like that. Many of my contemporaries' fathers served in WWII. My father and two uncles served in what was then known as The Great War. I am happy to see that generation still being honored nearly a century later.
